● 초록 

이 글은 코로나-19 시대에 직면한 한국교회의 모습을 진단하면서 교회의 본질 가운데 긴요한 요소인 어머니-교회를 대안으로 고찰한다. 문제 제기를 위해 논자는 고레에다 히로카즈 감독의 영화 ?그렇게 아버지가 된다?를 분석한다. 아버지가 강조될 것 같은 영화임에도 필자가보기에 이 영화는 어머니가 중심에 있다. 아버지와 어머니는 가족을 이루는 근원이다. 아버지가 아버지 되기 위해서 요청되는 전제가 무엇인지 이 영화는 보여준다. 필자는 그것을 어머니로 본다. 코로나-19 시대의 한국교회를 진단함에 있어 필자는 아버지의 특성으로 세상과 싸우고 있는 한국교회를 본다. 한국교회에게 필요한 또 다른모습을 어머니의 모습이라 여긴 필자는 교회의 역사에서 이와 같은 전례가 있음을 로마의 박해 시대와 종교개혁의 시기에서 찾는다. 그래서바이러스로 인해 박해받는 동시에 세상으로부터 박해받는 한국교회가 어머니-교회에서 해결책을 찾고, 여기서 다시 시작할 수 있음을 제시한다. 정체성이 어떻게 형성되는가에 대한 논의를 통해 오늘날 한국교회의 정체성을 조망해본다.

This article examines the mother-church, an important element of the essence of the church, as an alternative, while diagnosing the situations of the Korean church facing the COVID-19. To raise the issue, I analyze Hirokazu Koreeda's film Like Father, Like Son. Although the movie is likely to emphasize the father, I think the mother is at the center of the movie. Father and mother are the source of family. The movie shows what the premise that a father is asked to become a father is. I see it as the mother. In diagnosing a Korean church in the COVID-19, I see a Korean church fighting the world in the character of a father. I regard another image needed   by the Korean church as the character of a mother, and I look for such a precedent in the history of the church in the era of persecution. Therefore, it is suggested that the Korean church, which is infected   by the virus and persecuted   by the world, can find a solution in the mother?church and start again here. Through discussions on how identity is formed, we look at the identity of the Korean church today.
